Sales Team Member

Sales employees will concentrate on acquiring new business and conducting customer visits in the field. When not in the field, they are expected to collaborate with their team from their assigned office location, if available.

Overall Purpose: Drive revenue growth by serving as the product specialist for aligned sales teams. Assist in selling complex products, services, and solutions tailored to customer needs.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Product Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert, providing guidance on product suitability for various customer solutions.
  • Solution Customization & Design: Partner with sales teams and customers to design and tailor products, services, and solutions.
  • Proposal Development: Prepare comprehensive sales proposals, presentations, and bids, including pricing for highly complex solutions.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement advanced sales strategies and strategic plans to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
  • Account Management: Oversee the sales process as the product specialist, ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships.

Job Contribution: This is a senior-level sales role requiring an advanced understanding of sales principles, practices, products, and services. The position manages large, complex sales with minimal supervision and is responsible for a higher-than-average sales quota or territory. Key skills include effective communication, advanced data analysis, extensive experience, and strong problem-solving abilities. Responsibilities may also include introducing new products, leading training sessions, and mentoring colleagues. When multiple positions exist at the I11 level, the more senior role will have higher sales targets, a broader scope, and increased complexity.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None.

Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) preferred. Requires 8+ years of related sales experience. Prior AT&T experience a bonus.

Our Lead App Sales Exec 3 IoT earns between $89,600 - $161,300 USD Annual + commissions with a total target compensation of $170,300 - $220,500.
