The Google Cloud Small/Medium Businesses (SMB) team focuses on working with small and medium-sized businesses. As an SMB Sales Manager, you will have the opportunity to help transform how SMB organizations operate. You'll build and manage a team of sales representatives, working to drive awareness, adoption and business growth for Google's public cloud. You'll also participate in all aspects of building the business, including attainment of assigned objectives, business planning, demand generation, customer engagement, and at-scale marketing activities.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $120,000-$178,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of SMB sellers to acquire new Google Cloud customers, achieve team goals to maximize business growth by focusing on motivating, enabling and developing the team to be successful.
  • Manage the business operation to function at scale, prioritizing methods to operate more efficiently while maintaining high-touch customer engagement.
  • Manage a weekly forecasting cadence through detailed pipeline reviews. Provide regular updates to leadership on progress against quarterly goals.
  • Coach, develop and maintain a high-performing culture that attracts and retains talent.
  • Manage productive relationships with business development, marketing leaders, and representatives as well as our partner ecosystem, to drive strategy and execution.
