Sales Director

We are seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead our Public Sector business in India. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in SaaS-based solutions, enterprise sales, and building strong relationships within government and public sector organizations.

Key Responsibilities

Drive revenue growth by developing and executing sales strategies for the Public Sector segment.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in government and public sector organizations.
Lead complex enterprise sales cycles, from prospecting to closure.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Product, Customer Success) to deliver tailored solutions.
Forecast sales performance and ensure achievement of quarterly and annual targets.
Stay updated on industry trends, compliance requirements, and competitive landscape.

Requirements

15+ years of experience in enterprise sales, with at least 5 years in SaaS or technology solutions.
5+ years of proven success in selling to PSU/Government clients.
Strong understanding of public procurement processes, RFPs, and regulatory environments.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to lead and mentor a high-performing sales team.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with large government projects or tenders.
Familiarity with compliance and procurement processes in the public sector.
MBA or equivalent degree is a plus.
