Job Title

Manage a portfolio of accounts in Malaysia, further developing existing customers in the Home/Personal Care market segment.

Collaborate closely with the team to identify additional opportunities in this area.

Achieve set budgetary goals, particularly focusing on turnover targets.

Generate sales and profitable margins by managing and expanding existing business.

Understand and develop the needs of a growing customer base, maintaining relationships with key contacts at all levels through virtual meetings and communications.

Gather and analyze marketing and competitive information, proposing strategies to optimize returns and achieve business growth.

Identify and recommend new product range opportunities through market surveys.

Gather, analyze, interpret, and present market, product, competitor, and industry data to support the development of the business's forward strategy.

Proactively monitor and review payment terms against the customer portfolio, ensuring adherence to payment terms and minimizing business risk.

Consider payment terms and cash flow implications during negotiations for all existing business.

Create and communicate development plans to optimize business objectives and achieve sales retention and growth targets.

Conduct virtual meetings with target customers to promote products and provide feedback to the business and suppliers on customer response and activity.

Ensure the implementation and monitoring of marketing campaigns.

Skills & Competences

Bachelor's degree in chemistry or biotechnology.

Excellent communication skills in English.

Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in sales or commercial roles.

Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to liaise with people at all levels, both internally and externally.

Team player with excellent time management skills to meet different assigned targets.

Highly organized, hands-on, able to work well under pressure, handle multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.

Sense of ownership and drive, being a problem solver, self-starter with a bias for prompt action, and accountable for timely completion of tasks.
