Technical Sales Executive GDL

Location: Guadalajara, México

Time Type: Full time

Job Summary: Continuous search for business opportunities that guarantees the objective growth in the year. Experience in technical and commercial sales of APIs, excipients and packaging materials (desirable). Knowledge of pharmaceutical technology and product development. Knowledge of health regulations. Minimum of 5 years experience in technical sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage time effectively to ensure that all potential customers are served with adequate efficiency, visiting different areas like purchasing and R&D.
  • Achieve a high level of sales efficiency by continually identifying and exploiting profitable sales opportunities
  • Optimize sales results by identifying, prioritizing, and selling products that yield the most profitability to the company and by disengaging from sales and services which do not fit the company's focus or profitability objectives
  • Achieve and maintain a high level of responsiveness and follow-up to customer needs via phone and web
  • Develop and maintain a high level of product knowledge by reading and studying product data sheets
  • Achieving a level of expertise, so as to act as a problem solver for customers, thereby increasing value to the customer
  • Establish relationships with all personnel at each key account and sustain the relationships to assure continuity
  • Provide written reports of the highlights of all sales calls with emphasis on significant information as it relates to new or lost business, pricing changes, usage rates, and strategies by competition
  • Participate in developing goals and short-term targets to increase sales volume with each customer and in developing and implementing sales strategies to accomplish them profitably

Qualifications:

  • College degree: Q.F.B, Engineer Chemical, Pharmaceutical engineer
  • 5+ years previous experience Pharmaceutical market in México
  • Pharmaceutical technology and product development experience
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Good analytical capabilities.
  • Strong communication skills (written and oral).
  • English 80%
  • Ability to work independently
