The Aero and Heavy duty S&OP planning specialist at GTS, will be a key agent in managing aero assets for strategic contractual initiatives, developing aero spare parts advanced buy process and supporting product leadership for new product introduction both in aero and heavy duty.

As a Manufacturing Team leader - Sales & Operations Planning you will be responsible for:

• Continuous coordination and communication with both regional PM (demand) and Aero alliance JV asset management team (supply) to allocate and prioritize engines new or refurbished to fulfill customer events plan.
• Define and implement all operational transactions to give the right documents to Aero alliance JV for a smoother execution of customer events plan.
• Support the preparation on Aero and Heavy Duty of S&OP demand and supply review, S&OP executive review on a quarterly basis to ensure communication loop back to S&OP key stakeholders.
• Support product leadership and Global Operations in leading and developing new product introduction starting from new Energy Equipment pipeline.
• Support in defining and implementing new aero spare parts demand process: owner of release long term plan orders to Aero alliance JV.
• Providing regular updates and reports to senior management on the progress of strategic initiatives.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Degree in STEM discipline.
• Background: Operations, Materials Management.
• Knowledge of the service operational process and tools.
• Knowledge of inventory, planning and forecasting.
• Analytical, process improvement and problem-solving skills.
• Display strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Display knowledge and ability to apply industry insights to strategic decision-making

Preferred:

• Strong communication skills within a cross-functional environment.
• Strong promoter of the collaboration culture.
• Fluent in English and Italian.
