• Meet month-to-month sales targets in New Retail Electrical Power.
• Upselling other products/services linked to Perkins Electric Power and Industrial engines.
• Grow and sustain engines sales within allocated territories/customer base.
• Effective territory and accounts management.
• Tender process management.
• Generate leads and build customer relationships.
• Find new business opportunities and maintain a healthy pipeline for future deals.
• Accurately and efficiently deal with sales administrative tasks.
• Sales forecasting.
• Effective self-management and performance ownership.
• Manage all aspects of sales process.
• Knowledge of Perkins Electric Power and Industrial product line including accessories and work tools.
• Knowledge of CRM.
• Knowledge of MS office.
Qualification, Experience and Competencies:
• Minimum 5 years' sales experience of Electrical power and or industrial equipment/ engines.
• Electrical engineering/Mechanical engineering Diploma or equivalent.
• Salesforce Experience.
• Computer Literacy & Knowledge of MS office.
• Good customer relationship skills.
• Business planning and development skills and knowledge.
• Strong communication, negotiating and presentation skills.
• Time and self-management.
• Sound technical knowledge of Perkins engines, accessories and work tools.
• Extensive Experience in a Technical Sales Role (Electrical Power and or Industrial Equipment).
• Financial acumen (costs & trading margins).
