The Technician Sr. Sales HORECA is responsible for innovate and support DISTRIBUTORS sales team in order to accomplish – volume and margin – in assigned strategic accounts. Responsible to provide a high level of service for the customers, products and programs to select accounts. He/Her will promote the use of our Gourmet brands, focused on supporting our customers with developments and/or proposals to make their businesses more profitable and at the same time increase the portfolio with them.

Having as a priority to provide a great Service experience based on our brands with the customers, providing trainings for the correct way to use of our brands. In addition, as a technical advisor he/her will be responsible to identify commercial needs that arises from our end customers.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  1. Identify and share potential customers to the DISTRIBUTORS sales team to generate sales of BC Gourmet brands.
  2. Represents the company with different customers to help quality issues and train applications with our portfolio.
  3. Support sales team with volume objectives for the assigned territory
  4. Maximize and innovate with our products and services in order to persuade customers to buy our brands.
  5. Develops proposals for seasonality and innovation products focused on the defined plans and customers.
  6. Use the Chocolate Academy as a driver of innovation and development center according the customer needs.
  7. Give support in customer Expos and showrooms with our brands.
  8. Participate and support self-service production when necessary and/or negotiated with supermarkets.

About You:

  • Specific diploma and bachelor's degree in pastry, Bakery, Pastry Chef, Chocolate or similar
  • With 3 years minimum of experience as a technical advisor in the pastry and/or chocolate area (HORECA customers is preferred).
  • Technical knowledge: Experience on Hotels applications, bakery & pastry, food production, trainings, production optimization, dairy, confectionery, is a strong plus.
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with all business partners.
  • Focus and oriented on long term relationship skills and ability to interact with a variety of internal and external customers.
  • Travel requirements: Travel is required- national.
  • Market visits and End-users knowledge/Route to market
  • Balance between service and execution, focus on high levels of quality following Mexican regulatory laws.
