As a Virtual Portfolio Territory Manager within our US Hospital Products team, you take pride in representing Baxter and our products. Your keen understanding of our medication delivery portfolio and belief in the value and quality they provide to patients fuels your confidence. Our customers trust you and appreciate your knowledge and curiosity when finding solutions to meet their needs. You enjoy building relationships, and establishing trust with materials management, nursing, pharmacy, risk management and other departments throughout the hospital.

  • Home Base: Remote (Anywhere in US)
  • Territory Coverage: Ohio, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, West Virginia

What you'll be doing:

  • Responsible for achieving sales goals for Baxter's Medication Delivery products in the Territory.
  • Products include Baxter's Access IV Tubing, Fluid Therapy portfolios, Reconstitution and Parenteral Nutrition portfolios.
  • Carry out sales strategies and complete business plan to achieve sales volume, product mix, and profit objectives.
  • Calls on acute hospital customers, delivers effective sales presentations, provides technical and administrative product information, demonstrations, and education.
  • Works in close harmony with Infusion Systems and Pharmacy Specialists to achieve assigned goals and objectives.
  • Protect, service, and grow current base of business.
  • Responsible for managing and improving Baxter GPO contracts.
  • Serve as a resource for market information for management and marketing.

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 1-3+ years' experience or 4+ years of relevant experience
  • Preferred track record of success in meeting both customer needs, and corporate sale objectives; preferred clinical or science background
  • Must be highly motivated, energetic, and resourceful
  • Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Must be able to balance team/individual responsibilities and contribute to building a positive team culture
  • Proficiency with MS Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • 20% travel is required and may involve visits to remote or urban areas either individually or with other personnel.

The estimated base pay range for this position is $56,000 - $77,000 annually, with additional opportunity to earn sales incentive compensation for achieving or exceeding your goals. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less within the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change.
