Pediatric Sales Specialist

The Pediatric Sales Specialist will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and maintaining existing accounts within assigned territory by providing clinical education to nurses and other healthcare professionals on the safe and effective use of our medical devices. The role requires strong organizational skills as well as excellent communication and presentation skills. A valid driver's license is required as travel to customer locations will be necessary. Position can be based in the Central United States, close to a major airport.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop new business opportunities and maintain existing accounts within assigned territory
  • Provide clinical education to nurses and other healthcare professionals on the safe and effective use of BD pediatric products
  • Assess customers' needs and develop strategies to address them
  • Negotiate contracts and/or agreements
  • Develop relationships with key decision makers and those influential in the purchasing process
  • Manage inventory levels at customer sites
  • Prepare comprehensive reports detailing market trends, competitor activity, and sales results
  • Work collaboratively with peers and other internal functions to develop and implement effective sales strategies
  • Resolve customer complaints and concerns
  • Maintain accurate records and submit expenses and other paperwork in a timely manner
  • Attend conferences and trade shows to promote BD products and enhance industry knowledge

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field required
  • 5+ years experience in the Pediatric space required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of clinical practices and procedures
  • Familiarity with medical-surgical equipment and supplies
  • Computer proficiency
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Willingness to travel frequently

Salary ranges may vary for Field-based and Remote roles. $75K-$202K - Annual Range includes Base + Incentive.
