We are seeking a highly competitive, results-oriented payments security consultative Account Executive.

This individual will sell our mission-critical SaaS products into a variety of verticals, including healthcare, retail, government/municipalities, higher education, and other sectors. Our SaaS products are needed in every industry, and the incumbent will help ensure we drive complete market penetration. Working collaboratively with our Marketing and other internal teams, the incumbent will provide a client solution-oriented and consultative approach to sell PCI P2PE validated solutions and other PHI and PII products throughout their verticals, in addition to attending tradeshows and partner shows to promote Bluefin and our products. There is also the opportunity for annual travel to engage in strategic account reviews and face-to-face meetings with clients and partners to enhance relationships and drive business growth. Our technology is universal and works with any software system, payment gateway or processor, and our PHI and PII products easily integrate into our client's systems. This position reports to the Director of Sales.

This is a hunter role. Exceptional "hunting" capabilities and a desire to help protect the world from data predators will significantly contribute toward the incumbent's ability to meet and exceed business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own a personal Business Plan to drive revenue and deliver value to Bluefin, executing a disciplined cadence of sales activities to hit targets.
  • Leverage personal networks, marketing leads, and individual outbound prospecting efforts to build relationships, educate prospects, and manage opportunities within Salesforce.
  • Manage individual pipeline according to KPI and quota objectives.
  • Apply consultative selling to uncover client needs, strengthen relationships, and position Bluefin's solutions as exceptional business value.
  • Uncover client challenges and opportunities through a consultative, solutions-focused approach—build trust, surface needs, and position Bluefin's offerings as high-value business solutions.
  • Deliver professional presentations on security topics (PCI P2PE, tokenization, regulations, trends) that spark interest and generate new opportunities.
  • Collaborate across teams to identify integration opportunities and drive cross-sell growth across Bluefin's product suite.
  • Maintain strong time management, reporting, and relationship skills to keep a clean pipeline, build referrals, and drive consistent opportunities.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • 3–5 years of experience in Payments sales, with a track record of selling security, fraud prevention, or transaction-protection solutions in a direct, individual contributor role.
  • Proven consultative sales track record selling payment security technologies such as encryption, tokenization, gateways, and orchestration across multiple verticals.
  • Demonstrated history of surpassing sales targets with strong objection-handling capabilities.
  • Brings a proven sales methodology and a clear, repeatable process for turning prospects into opportunities and closing deals.
  • Proven ability to leverage own network to create meaningful lead generation and manage Sales pipeline via Salesforce.
  • Results-oriented and dynamic SaaS Sales professional effective at building and executing on an individual Sales/Business Plan that will generate meaningful leads and close opportunities.
  • Effective at managing and closing multiple leads within a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Extensive, hands-on Salesforce Lightning experience required, with a strong track record of leveraging the platform to manage the full sales cycle.
  • Sophisticated use of LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, Salesloft, and other related tools to uncover and engage with potential clients.
  • Inquisitive self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset, willing to experiment, adapt quickly, and solve challenges unique to Bluefin's customer base with creative solutions.
  • Ability to collaborate and excel in a remote environment; excellent time-management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of work experience.
