The Job:
The Sales & Business Operations Specialist plays a crucial role in the Nordic Commercial Excellence team within our Flat roofing business. The role sits at the intersection of business strategy, data analytics, and technology, with the main goal of making commercial operations more efficient, effective, and data-driven. You will act as a technical expert and internal consultant, ensuring that the commercial organization in our Flat roofing Nordic business has the correct data at the right time and the most efficient processes to drive profitable growth and a better customer experience.
Your Main Tasks:
Data Analysis and Insight Generation:
Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports to track key commercial performance indicators (KPIs).
Data-Driven Recommendations: Analyze complex commercial data (sales, customer, market) to identify trends, opportunities, and problem areas.
Data Management & Quality: Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and cleanliness of commercial data, within our core systems.
Commercial Automation and Process Optimization:
Identify Automation Opportunities: Analyze existing commercial workflows to identify repetitive, manual, or time-consuming tasks that can be automated for better efficiency and consistency.
Design and Implement Automation: Develop and deploy automation solutions.
System Integration: Ensure that commercial systems are properly integrated and exchanging data seamlessly to support end-to-end automated processes.
Sales and Commercial Enablement:
Develop Tools and Frameworks: Support the sales team by developing or enhancing tools, templates, and frameworks that improve their day-to-day effectiveness, such as customer segmentation models or account planning tools.
Training and Change Management: Act as a change agent by driving the adoption of new automated processes and data tools across the commercial organization. This often involves training users and communicating the benefits of the new systems.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams—including Sales, Marketing, IT, Finance, and Customer Service—to align commercial strategies with technological capabilities, both in the Nordics and internationally.
Your Experience:
Ideally, you hold a university degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. Furthermore, we believe you have a proven track record of a minimum of 2 years in a similar position. It is highly beneficial if you are used to working with PIM. You have solid experience from stakeholder management. You are well experienced with analytics and reporting tools and have very strong Excel and/or Sheet skills. Experience of SAP is highly valued.
