Sales Manager Asia - Pacific (M/F/D)

BorgWarner Aftermarket Europe GmbH has a new opportunity for a dynamic, results driven Sales Manager Asia - Pacific (M/F/D). Located in Singapore, the Sales Manager Asia - Pacific (M/F/D) is responsible for achieving defined sales targets within his/her defined territory. While developing annual plans within the business unit, the Sales Manager owns the customer strategy and is accountable for the growth, profitability and customer satisfaction of his territory.

Key Responsibilities/Requirements:

  • Develop and manage a portfolio of clients in assigned region
  • Commercial and technical customer support in the field
  • Handling of requests, offer preparation, contract conclusion negotiations with sub buying groups
  • Securing pricing policy
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, logistics, technical support) to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Close collaboration and supporting of the Regional Sales Managers as well as cooperation with the Customer Service, Product Management team and other internal departments

Required Job Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of sales experience in automotive Aftermarket is required.
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent
  • Technical understanding is a must
  • Turnover and margin responsibility
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Strong customer- and service orientation
  • Team player, strong negotiation skills, and strategic mindset
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
  • Local language plus very good command of English
  • Experience with Aftermarket brands and distribution channels
