We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to lead our Sales team. This is a leadership role with significant influence, where you will shape sales plans and steer business forecasting. The role focuses on driving long term strategic account growth, developing new business opportunities, and implementing strategies to achieve ambitious sales targets, while leading and inspiring a high-performing team to deliver outstanding results.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Sales or Financial Services, proven leadership experience, and exceptional strategic and marketing planning skills. You will motivate and guide the team to deliver outstanding results while ensuring alignment with company objectives.
Set the sales strategy and manage the achievement of team sales targets and key business goals
Execute sales plans in line with brand guidelines and company objectives
Manage team pipeline, forecasting, and reporting to the General Manager
Drive sales performance and revenue growth through effective account management
Work with the Marketing team to support campaign execution and lead generation activities
Monitor sales performance metrics and take corrective action to ensure targets are met
Build and maintain strong client and internal relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
Represent the company in a positive and supportive manner at all times
Coach and develop team members to reach their full potential and build a strong succession pipeline
Leadership & Team Development
Lead, manage, support, and develop the sales team
Recruit, train, and mentor staff in line with company policy
Conduct regular performance reviews, one-to-ones, and appraisals
Drive a positive, high-performance culture in the team
Identify skills gaps and provide coaching to improve team capabilities
Sales Strategy & Execution
Manage key client accounts and develop strong relationships
Execute sales strategies to increase revenue and market share
Achieve and exceed team sales targets
Provide weekly pipeline reports and accurate forecasts to the General Manager
Build strong client relationships and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
Deliver persuasive sales presentations to prospective clients
Identify and pursue new business opportunities
Champion best practices and make recommendations for process improvements
Sales x Marketing
Work with the Marketing team to identify new revenue opportunities
Support marketing activities including digital campaigns, events, and lead generation
Manage leads effectively to ensure conversion from marketing to sales
Provide feedback to Marketing on campaign effectiveness and market insights
Ensure consistent brand messaging in all customer interactions
Data & Reporting
Manage CRM system and ensure team follows best practices
Monitor and report on key sales metrics and KPIs
Analyse sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
Ensure data accuracy and quality across all sales activities
Market Intelligence
Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activity
Share market insights with senior leadership
Identify opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage
Skills & Experience Required
Proven experience in a Sales Manager role
Proven B2B sales experience
Strong CRM system knowledge
Ability to manage individual and team sales targets
Skilled in data analysis and accurate reporting
Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills
Highly organized with strong planning abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint essential)
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Strong leadership and team development skills
Willingness to travel to different locations, including Head Office
