Brown & Brown is seeking a Commercial Account Executive to join our growing team in Plano, TX.
The Commercial Lines Account Executive is responsible for the retention and growth of an assigned book of business. The Account Executive builds relationships with clients and prospects to achieve client satisfaction.
How You Will Contribute
- Cultivate relationships with clients, prospects, carrier partners, and teammates to drive retention and new business
- Lead renewal process for assigned book of business
- Oversee the completion of administrative tasks including issuance of certificates of insurance, auto ID cards, and processing policies/endorsements
- Identify gaps in coverage and advise client and prospective clients with options; work through complex coverage needs
- Review and document internal compliance and client disclosure requirements, policies, endorsements, and certificates to ensure understanding of client expectations, legal requirements, and insurance operations
- Help grow the assigned book of business through account rounding and referrals
- Support marketing and sales teams
- Follow agency guidelines, policies, and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Licenses and Certifications:
- TX General Agents license, required
Skills & Experience to Be Successful
- Strong technical knowledge of commercial lines insurance coverage
- 4+ years' service/retail general agency experience
- Experience working with AMS 360 & ImageRight, preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
