Brown and Brown are seeking a Senior Account Executive to join our growing team in Alpharetta, GA.

The Senior Account Executive is responsible for managing and retaining an existing book of business while identifying opportunities for strategic growth. This role provides high-level client support, builds strong relationships across all levels of client organizations, and ensures service plans align with client needs.

How You Will Contribute:

  • Manage and retain existing book of business and pursue new opportunities for the book, where appropriate, including a specific business plan for growth.
  • Provide client support with all levels of client's decision-makers as well as the day-to-day technical client representatives.
  • Follow-up to address client needs and resolve any problems or issues.
  • Ensure proper resources within the organization are available to the client and introduce new products through other core business groups, where appropriate.
  • Understand the needs of each client and develop and oversee client service plans.
  • Prepare client renewals and new business strategies, including proposals, and presentations, while ensuring agreement with client's requests/requirements.
  • Present proposals to clients, ensuring appropriate team members and resources are available.
  • Foster and seek relationships with teammates across all levels of Brown & Brown.
  • Ensure compliance with government agencies and corporate policies and procedures.
  • Attend training sessions, courses, etc. to maintain up-to-date skills.

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Active P&C license

Skills & Experience to Be Successful:

  • 6+ years' experience in medium and large commercial insurance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
  • Insurance designations (CIC, CISR, ARM, etc.) (Preferred)
  • Experience with AMS360 or insurer websites (Preferred)
