Regional Sales Manager - Unit (South Central)
We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager for our powersports unit division. In this role, you will report to the Regional Sales Director and you will be managing our unit field sales team. As part of your role, you'll be significantly contributing to the organization's growth by strategically and tactically leading your team to achieve our retail and wholesale objectives. You will coach and develop your team into engaging our dealers in the execution of the unit best practices to increase BRP unit wholesale and retail sales.

You'll Have The Opportunity To:
- Coach and develop your team into engaging dealers in the execution of the unit retail and wholesale best practices. Lead, mentor and develop your sales team; ensure consistency with the execution of dealer visits, monitor visit quality and visit frequency to be in line with objectives. Build a high performing team culture focused on BRP the values: Passion, Trust, Ingenuity, and Drive.
- Develop a Zone Action Plan to capture unit opportunities. Ensure alignment of your Zone Action Plan with your team District Action Plan. Align and lead your team to execute the unit priorities to reach wholesale and retail sales objectives within your zone.
- Implement tools enabling execution of the plan and track the performance. Consistently evaluate zone performance and identify opportunities to increase wholesale and retail unit sales and profitability with BRP. Monitor industry, competitive trends and play a key role in the evolution of the unit wholesale and retail programs and policies.
- Partner with peer Regional Sales Managers to work in collaboration with cross-functional teams ensuring you have the right toolbox to perform your role.
- Contribute to continuous improvement through the optimization of the sales function and team performance year over year.
- Effectively manage your budget and your sales team budget ensuring return on investment for each initiative you are implementing.
You'll Thrive In This Role If You Have The Following Skills, Experience And Competencies:
Required:
- 8 plus years of relevant field sales experience
- 3 plus years of prior supervisory and leadership experience
- Experience in the implementation of retail best practices
- Experience analyzing data in Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong initiative: demonstrated track record of initiating and successfully implementing projects or ideas.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills; the ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively with a variety of individuals and departments.
- The selected candidate is required to reside within the assigned region (NM, TX, OK, KS, NE, IA, MO). Relocation support is not provided for this position. Candidates must be willing and able to relocate at their own expense.
- Travel required is 40%
Preferred:
- Powersports or automotive industry experience
- Prior process improvement and project management experience
