Sales Strategy Manager - Manufacturer Relations

In this position, you will be responsible for growing sales and maturing client relationships by expanding capabilities, providing insightful ideas, innovative strategy, and relevant solutions. You will collaborate with internal and external teams in the planning, execution and reporting of initiatives, partnering closely with the Sales Enablement team.

This position is based out of our Becker, MN office with anticipated travel up to 3 client visits, meetings, industry conferences, or trade shows per year. We are unable to offer work sponsorship for this role.

Your impact:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients by providing insightful ideas and industry expertise
  • Identify and deliver customized, impactful marketing strategies and actionable insights
  • Leverage a proactive approach to achieve client objectives, strategies, key initiatives and actionable opportunities
  • Analyze and communicate data-driven market trends, consumer behavior and competitive behavior to develop effective sales opportunities featuring actionable strategies
  • Create and deliver compelling presentations and comprehensive project proposals that result in sales growth
  • Establish project objectives and support program and promotion processes (Including set up, reporting and validation, documentation)
  • Facilitate client training and engagement sessions, educating about our services and capabilities
  • Lead internal training to engage inside sales, customer service and other relevant RTS teams
  • Collaborate with internal team to increase loyalty program engagement and other support as required and requested

About you:

  • Bachelor's degree plus 5-7 years of client management, project management, marketing management, or agency strategy experience or equivalent preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook) required
  • In-depth understanding of the foodservice industry, coupled with strong knowledge of data-driven marketing principles
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Advanced communication, critical thinking, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent oral, written, spreadsheet and presentation communication skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple projects and work independently and as part of a team
  • Capacity to make independent decisions and educated recommendations to clients and internal team
  • Ability to multitask and change direction quickly to accommodate changing business needs
  • Demonstrate good judgement, creativity and positive attitude
  • Represent our clients, our programs and company brand in a positive and professional way
  • Possess independent time management and organizational skills

Travel Required:

  • Required travel for up to 6 client visits, meetings, industry conferences and trade shows/year
  • Physical and Company Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer, must be able to interact with other departments with projects as needed to exceed client expectations
