Our sales and partner management teams are the heart and soul of DoorDash, helping us partner with top merchants across many countries to grow their revenue and help them operate even better. We are looking for a Sales Strategy & Operations Manager to accomplish strategic plans that enhance sales productivity by helping our teams be more impactful in targeting and closing the most valuable partnerships at scale. You'll work between our sales, partner management, operations, and analytics teams to build the merchant foundation.

Within this job posting, we're hiring for a Sales Strategy & Operations Manager to build and execute the Vendor sales strategy for our Global Sales organization. You will work closely with global external partners and internal stakeholders to establish a Vendor network that can meet DoorDash's GTM needs and expand DoorDash's GTM reach and capabilities. This role in particular partners closely with Pre-Sales Strategy & Operations – enabling DoorDash to scale its core business and execute a go-to-market strategy to acquire every merchant that customers want on our platform. This includes developing go-to-market playbooks, revenue optimization, strategic plans to enhance productivity, process redesign, product roadmap and launches, resource allocation and pipeline analytics.

You're excited about this opportunity because you will…

  • Build – Develop and drive the future of DoorDash’s offshore sales function.
  • Experiment – Design and run initiatives across the portfolio to optimize productivity, find ROI efficiencies, and uncover scalable solutions.
  • Influence – Partner cross-functionally with external Vendors leaders, Sales, S&O, Procurement, and Finance to develop strategies to scale business impact.
  • Own – Take full ownership of the day-to-day operations of multi-stakeholder projects, with a strong bias for action.
  • Analyze – Use data to guide decisions, balancing long-term vision with hands-on execution.

We're excited about you because…

  • You have 7+ years of experience in consulting, strategy, business development, operations, technology, banking, analytics or related experience with a track record of leading initiatives and hitting goals.
  • You have experience working in '0 to 1' stage businesses and driving both the strategy/vision and end to end execution.
  • You are a strong business thinker, able to use 'first principles' to solve challenging business problems at their root level.
  • You are data-driven, able to analyze data with strong attention to detail and accuracy, and passionate about telling the story behind the numbers.
  • You are comfortable in a fast-paced, constantly changing team-oriented environment and able to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
  • You have experience leading projects, working in a team, and motivating people at all levels across a variety of job responsibilities; partnership management experience preferred.
  • You are well-versed in using data analysis tools and presentation software.
  • You have strong Sales acumen and understand key drivers of Sales performance.
  • You have a bachelor's degree or higher.
