Technical Sales Engineer

At Jensen Infrastructure, we are committed to shaping the future of stormwater management by delivering sustainable, practical, and innovative solutions. As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will report to the Technical Sales Manager and collaborate with engineers, contractors, distributors, and public agencies to support project development, provide technical expertise, and drive the adoption of Jensen products. This role blends technical consultation with business development, requiring a balance of problem-solving skills, customer engagement, and sales acumen. A highlight of your day-to-day will include:

  • Growing the Business: Drive sales in your territory by developing new accounts, strengthening existing relationships, and executing smart growth strategies.
  • Being a Trusted Partner: Work directly with engineers, contractors, agencies, and developers—delivering presentations, hosting industry events, and providing expert guidance on products, specifications, and compliance.
  • Owning the Project Cycle: Support customers from initial quote through design, pricing, and installation to ensure successful outcomes and lasting partnerships.
  • Collaborating & Innovating: Team up with sales, engineering, and marketing colleagues while staying ahead of industry trends and competitor offerings.

With strong technical knowledge and excellent communication skills, you enjoy working with customers to solve complex challenges. You are self-driven, collaborative, and highly organized, with a strong focus on delivering value to clients while driving growth for the company.

Experience:

  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in technical sales, civil/environmental engineering, or related site development projects.
  • Experience with stormwater, precast, or construction industry products preferred.

Minimum Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Salary Range: $90,000—$105,000 USD
