Are you a strategic sales leader ready to make a real impact?
We're looking for a driven and inspiring Sales Manager to lead a high-performing field sales team within a defined zone. This is your opportunity to shape member and supplier relationships, drive commercial success, and contribute directly to Capricorn's broader strategic goals. This role will require on-the-road travel to support and mentor a team of area managers and also occasional interstate travel.
What You'll Do
- Lead and energize a team of field sales professionals to exceed sales and risk targets.
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with members and suppliers.
- Develop and execute a clear 90-day sales plan that delivers results.
- Champion Capricorn's values and strategy across your zone.
What You Bring
- Proven experience in sales leadership, with a track record of delivering results.
- Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation capabilities.
- Ability to lead with clarity, influence at all levels, and adapt to changing business needs.
- A collaborative mindset with a passion for team success.
Your Skills & Attributes
- Strategic thinker with sound analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Confident communicator – both written and verbal – across all levels.
- Skilled in planning, organizing, and driving performance in a remote/field environment.
- Knowledge of trade practices and consumer law is a plus.
Experience That Sets You Apart
- 3–5 years in a sales or marketing leadership role, ideally within finance, automotive, equipment, or broking sectors.
- Experience selling credit products in the finance industry.
- Exposure to co-operatives or member-based organizations is highly regarded.
Qualifications
- A current valid driver's license (essential).
