Responsible for loading and offloading bread to customers, sales collections, debt collection, and reconciliation. Identify new sales opportunities and meet daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets. Must have a minimum of 2 years of sales management experience in the bread manufacturing industry.
Key responsibilities include achieving sales targets, receiving stock and delivering bread to depots and customers as per assigned route, daily cash and stock reconciliation with sales clerks, collecting signed invoices and cheques from customers, adhering to zero returns policy and controlling product damages, collecting and accounting for crates daily, managing and reconciling payment processes, communicating price changes and new products, maintaining strong customer relationships, resolving escalated issues, increasing brand visibility and sales growth by opening new accounts, monitoring competitor activities and collecting market data, monitoring vehicle usage, fuel, and managing the sales budget, implementing quality assurance procedures, managing customer complaints, and maintaining accurate records of deliveries, customer accounts, and sales.
Qualifications include a diploma in sales, marketing, or equivalent, a minimum of 2 years of sales management experience in the bread manufacturing industry, technical expertise in manufacturing processes and products, excellent interpersonal skills, efficient time and resource management, and strong analytical and decision-making skills.
