The Sales Strategy Analyst (SSA) plays a critical role in supporting the performance and execution of a specific sales channel by delivering actionable insights, optimizing retail space, and coordinating strategic initiatives. Reporting to the Chain Business Manager, this position leads the channel's analytics function, overseeing reporting, performance tracking, space planning, and execution support.
This role collaborates closely with sales and brand management teams to drive executional excellence, deliver channel-specific insights, and support decisions that improve performance. A working knowledge of relevant contracts, pricing structures, and authorization processes is also important to ensure planning aligns with operational realities. Success in this role requires strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail, and the ability to synthesize data into clear, actionable direction.

Education:
Knowledge of a specialized or technical field such as cost or general accounting, business administration, logistics, management, economics, human resources, marketing, supply chain management, sales, technical purchasing. Equivalent to high school plus additional broad specialized training equal to 2 years of technical college OR apprenticeship training.
Experience:
Over 1 year up to and including 3 years.
Complexity of Duties:
Duties are diversified and involve an intensive knowledge of a field within the organization requiring the use of a wide range of procedures. Must apply principles of rational systems to solve practical problems. Required independent thinking and use of judgment to interpret and analyze facts and circumstances surrounding individual problems or transactions, and to determine appropriate action to be taken within the limits of standard or accepted practice.
Supervision Received:
Under general supervision where standard practice and flow of work enables the employee to proceed alone on regular duties, referring questionable variations in work to supervisor or other.
Responsibility for Errors:
Probable errors are usually detected in succeeding operations and confined to a single department or phase of company activities. Most work checked or verified by systems and procedures, or supervisions.
Contact with Others:
Regular contacts throughout the normal work with other persons, departments, vendors, customers, etc. on matters involving corrections or adjustments where proper behavior and tact are necessary to avoid friction and maintain the flow of work.

Work with some confidential data such as product costs, individual wage, and salary rates which, if disclosed, might have adverse internal or external effect.
Mental / Visual / Auditory Demand:
Routinely required close application of thought processes for sustained periods. May involve problems of correlation or application of reports, statistics, delivery routing, inventory management, etc.

Equipment:
Ability to operate standard office machines such as copier, computer, fax, binder, calculator, etc. Proficient with Excel and Word programs. Knowledge of elementary accounting, 10 key touch, and/or a variety of office procedures.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Cicerone Certified Beer Server Must possess valid driver's license
Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and customers.
