Together, Carta is creating the end-to-end ERP platform for private markets. Traditional ERP solutions don't work for Private Funds. Private capital markets need a comprehensive software solution to replace outdated spreadsheets and fragmented service providers. Carta's software for the Office of the Fund CFO does just that - it's a new category of software to make private markets look more like public markets - a connected ERP for private capital.

As a Mid Market Account Executive at Carta, you'll sit within the Venture Companies business unit and introduce executives and founders to our best-in-class software platform to help them streamline their equity management, stay compliant, and unlock efficiency in private markets. This role will focus on selling equity management solutions (e.g. Cap Table Management, Valuation Services, Compensation Benchmarking, etc.) to mid-stage, privately-held companies.

• Communicate the business impact of Carta to key decision makers
• Understand customer needs and requirements and act as a trusted business advisor
• Drive revenue through strategic outbound prospecting
• Own the entire sales lifecycle, from lead generation to close
• Develop a comprehensive sales strategy to ensure consistent achievement of sales targets
• Willing to dive into the venture capital industry to understand how we provide value to stakeholders across the ecosystem
• Leverage AI to maximize your effectiveness in your role

About You

• 3+ years of experience in a quota carrying SaaS sales role
• Experience outbound prospecting, navigating a greenfield territory, managing a pipeline, and closing large contracts
• Self-starter and adaptable to change
• Demonstrate strong collaboration with team members
• Experience in fintech, venture capital, legal tech, compliance tech a plus
• Sound understanding of leading sales methodologies & practices
• SFDC proficiency

Salary

We are hiring for multiple levels and locations, so final offers may vary from the amounts listed based on geography, experience and expertise, and other factors.

Carta's compensation package includes a market competitive salary, equity for all full time roles, exceptional benefits, and, for applicable roles, commissions plans. Our minimum cash compensation (salary + commission if applicable) range for this role is:

• $195,000 OTE ($43.74 / hour) in NY
