Experience by Industrious, VP of Sales

As a Experience by Industrious Sales Director, you will lead the development and execution of our customer experience (CX) and digital sales initiatives across our extensive property management portfolio in the United States. This pivotal sales role will be responsible for driving new business acquisition, expanding client relationships, and ensuring an exceptional customer journey for both prospects and existing clients. The Director will integrate customer experience best practices into sales strategies, focusing on delivering differentiated solutions that align with client needs and CBRE's value proposition. This role requires a sales leader with a proven track record in consultative sales, and a passion for fostering strong client relationships through superior service and solutions. The role will work hand in hand with Client Solutions Sales Leaders who are focused on developing and managing the opportunity pipeline for CBRE Property Management and will include end to end sales cycle responsibilities. This is a client facing role and will involve travel to client locations when necessary.

What You'll Do

Experience Services Growth

  • Serve as the primary sales resource focused on Experience by Industrious Sales initiatives.
  • Develop and execute a proactive strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed quarterly and annual targets.
  • Respond to reactive sales opportunities and RFP opportunities partnered with the CBRE Property Management Platform to maximize revenue growth.

Customer Growth & Upselling

  • Identify and convert upsell opportunities for existing Experience Services clients
  • Conduct needs assessments to understand client pain points and position appropriate solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to drive expansion revenue.
  • Attend client pitches and solutioning workshops as needed, articulating the product value proposition and differentiation.

Contract Management & Negotiation

  • Take ownership of the complete Experience by Industrious contract process from initial lead through to proposal and contract to signature.
  • Lead contract negotiations with customers, ensuring favorable terms while maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Assist with sales and contracting processes for PM Experience deal upsells, including scenarios involving additional scope or headcount expansion.
  • Develop accurate pricing proposals and manage contract documentation.
  • Collaborate with legal and finance teams to expedite contract execution.

Pipeline Development

  • Generate consistent pipeline through the CBRE platform, strategic referral partnerships and proactive outreach.
  • Leverage multiple prospecting channels to maintain a healthy sales funnel.
  • Qualify leads and opportunities to ensure alignment with ideal client profiles.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 10-15 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles with enterprise clients.
  • Multi-dimensional, conceptual, and innovative thinking to develop new solutions.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to craft compelling presentations and tailor messaging to resonate with C-level executives and other key stakeholders.
  • Strong negotiation capabilities with a consultative approach that balances client needs with business objectives.
  • Disciplined approach to sales methodology with strong CRM hygiene and experience managing structured deal cycles.
  • Ability to solve unique problems using standard and innovative solutions having a broad impact on the business.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Expert organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
  • Highly sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate somewhat complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

The minimum salary for the Experience by Industrious, VP of Sales position is $170,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Experience by Industrious, VP of Sales position is $190,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
