As a Senior Sales Manager Director at Cellulant, you will serve in a pivotal role that blends tactical sales execution with high-impact client relationship management across Ghana. You will fully own and manage key client accounts in your assigned sector(s), acting as the primary commercial driver and execution lead for sales and revenue growth activities. Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership and Planning

  • Develop and execute integrated sales strategies tailored to the Ghana market, aligning with the company's growth objectives.
  • Identify high-impact opportunities and growth levers in priority sectors (e.g., fintech, agriculture, FMCG, telecom) within the Ghana economic landscape.
  • Lead cross-border planning initiatives, driving the penetration of under-tapped markets while aligning strategies with country-specific regulatory, cultural, and commercial contexts.

Large Account Oversight

  • Manage a portfolio of large, strategic accounts across Ghana, ensuring strong client relationships, profitability, and scalability of solutions.
  • Serve as the point of contact for multinational clients operating across Ghana, coordinating local account teams to ensure seamless service delivery and value creation.

Market Analysis and Insight

  • Conduct comprehensive market intelligence across Ghana, identifying emerging trends, local business behaviors, regulatory shifts, and competitive movements.
  • Deliver actionable insights on customer needs segmented by country, sector, and business maturity, to support data-driven sales strategies and customized go-to-market approaches.

Team Development

  • Build and lead a high-performing, distributed sales team across, promoting a culture of collaboration, performance excellence, and local empowerment.
  • Drive capability development through coaching, mentorship, and country-specific training programs that reflect the nuances of operating in Ghana.

Sales and Client Relationship Management

  • Cultivate and manage long-term relationships with top-tier clients, stakeholders, and government or regulatory partners, positioning the company as a trusted business enabler across Ghana.
  • Oversee high-value negotiations and commercial engagements across borders, ensuring alignment with local market practices and compliance requirements.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting

  • Develop and maintain country-specific sales dashboards and KPIs, tracking performance to inform tactical pivots and strategic decision-making.
  • Provide monthly and quarterly insights to senior leadership on revenue trends, pipeline health, market risks, and growth opportunities within the country.

Collaboration and Integration

  • Partner with marketing, product, finance, and operations teams to deliver a unified customer experience and achieve commercial synergy across Ghana.
  • Contribute to the design and execution of marketing campaigns, thought leadership events, and partnership strategies that resonate with your audiences.

  • Demonstrated track record in proactively identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities, particularly within fast-moving and competitive sectors in Ghana.
  • Experience working within complex sales cycles and multi-stakeholder environments, with the ability to drive momentum and secure high-value deals.

Account Management Expertise

  • Solid experience in managing enterprise-level or strategic accounts across Ghana markets, ensuring continuous client engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
  • Skilled in uncovering client growth potential through structured upselling and cross-selling strategies, leading to increased revenue per account.

Strategic Sales Planning

  • Proven ability to contribute to the development and execution of strategic sales plans, aligned with both market dynamics and internal growth targets.
  • Adept at forecasting pipeline performance, interpreting trends, and adjusting commercial tactics in response to shifting market conditions or customer behavior.

Market Insight and Tactical Application

  • Deep understanding of market trends, customer behavior, and sector-specific dynamics across Ghana.

Achievement of Sales Targets

Commercial Acumen

  • High level of commercial and financial acumen, with a sharp understanding of pricing strategies, margin management, and contract negotiation in an African B2B context.
  • Ability to navigate the complex business environments of Ghana balancing client expectations, internal capabilities, and external regulatory or economic factors.
