Basic Technical Knowledge

  • Familiarity with Incoterms, types of transport (air, sea, land) and logistics documentation (BL, AWB, manifests, etc.)
  • Understanding of import and export processes, including transit times, customs and regulatory requirements
  • Management of spot quotes and contractual rates, especially in internal platforms or booking systems

Tools and Systems

  • Good command of Excel (pivot tables, filters, basic formulas), optional: CRM for customer follow-up
  • Use of shipping lines or airline portals to quote and track shipments

Interpersonal Skills

  • Attention to detail to avoid errors in rates, routes or service conditions
  • Clear and professional communication in Spanish and English, both written and verbal

Recommended Work Experience

  • 6 months to 2 years in areas of customer service, pricing, operations or internal sales within a forwarder
  • Participation in tasks such as quote assembly, shipment tracking, support to sales executives
