Curriculum Lead
The Global Early-in-Career Sales Onboarding team within Sales Enablement & Acceleration (SEA) is a forward-thinking, AI-first group on a mission to flip the traditional onboarding experience on its head. Your Impact
As the Curriculum Lead, you will be responsible for the overall onboarding curriculum strategy and learning architecture, ensuring strict alignment to sales roles and business priorities.
- You will lead and direct a group of instructional designers, providing creative leadership and project oversight to ensure the delivery of premier onboarding content
- You will lead the transition to an AI-first enablement model, integrating generative AI, conversational intelligence, and adaptive learning to compose personalized, scalable onboarding journeys
- You will work closely with Sales Leadership, Product teams, and Subject Matter Experts to ensure the curriculum reflects Cisco's latest innovations and evolving sales strategies
- You will be responsible for the end-to-end learning roadmap for Interns and Early-in-Career programs, ensuring these cohorts receive a tailored introduction to Cisco's sales culture
- You will work closely with external vendors and contractors, monitoring their output to ensure all outsourced content meets Cisco's standards for excellence and innovation
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in sales enablement, instructional design, or learning & development within a technology or SaaS organization
- Proven experience leading and developing teams of instructional designers or creative professionals
- Proficiency in instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM, Agile Learning) and a deep understanding of adult learning principles
- Validated experience engaging with senior-level stakeholders, with the ability to build relationships and influence decision-making across complex organizational structures
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with AI-powered sales coaching, conversational intelligence, or using generative AI for content development
- Hands-on experience with e-learning tools (Articulate 360, Adobe Creative Suite, Camtasia) and sales enablement platforms (Highspot, Mindtickle, or similar).
- Prior experience working on sales onboarding or early-in-career sales programs
- Prior experience in Cisco, Splunk, or a similar enterprise technology sales enablement environment
- Certifications: Certifications in Instructional Design, Sales Enablement, or Learning & Development (CPLP, IDC, or equivalent)
- Experience with learning analytics, training impact measurement, and performance coaching methodologies
