The Capital Markets Sales Senior Lead is a Senior Level professional who stays abreast of developments within their own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in their own job and the business. The overall objective of the group is to provide Private Bank clients with institutional level access to Citi's full Markets capabilities. Clients gain access to a wide range of products, research, institutional level pricing, expertise, and trading capabilities across global markets.
This role is based within the Citi Global Wealth Investments ("CGWI") Capital Markets Group. The Capital Markets Sales team is the sales and marketing arm of the CGWI Capital Markets group, curating and delivering our expansive products and services offerings to Investment Counselors (ICs), Private Bankers and clients. The team is tasked with growing participation across asset classes and multiple product types (OTC derivatives, structured notes, listed options, cash products) and serves as the salesforce's first point of call for all non-discretionary investments-related inquiries and opportunities.
The individual requires a thorough understanding of strategic direction of the function within the relevant part of the business, combined with a solid conceptual/practical grounding in both the function and/or area of expertise and related subject areas. The individual demonstrates excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally and externally, often at a senior level. The individual is responsible for executing functional strategy within their business and determines the approach to implementing functional strategy. Expected to be accountable for end results and contribution to the future strategy of the business. Impact reflects strategic influence on the business and interaction with other functions or businesses.
