Role Brief: We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing Inside Sales organization. In this role, you will support revenue growth efforts across multiple lines of business, including regulated waste, vacuum services, containerized waste, environmental remediation, sustainability solutions, and more. As part of a global team reporting into our Boston-based HQ, you will be at the forefront of engaging potential and former customers, identifying needs, and scheduling qualified meetings for our Field Sales Specialists. This role offers significant exposure, cross-functional collaboration, and a clear path for career development within a market-leading organization.

Key Responsibilities: The roles and responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:

  • Proactively engage new and inactive accounts via phone, email, and other communication channels
  • Identify customer needs and pain points and assess fit across multiple service lines
  • Reintroduce and educate prospects on service offerings tailored to their industry and location
  • Qualify sales meetings for Field Sales Specialists
  • Maintain accurate records of all outreach and customer insights in CRM (Salesforce)
  • Collaborate with sales leadership, marketing teams, and field sellers to ensure alignment on outreach strategy
  • Contribute to team metrics and pipeline generation goals
  • Adapt communication strategies based on region, vertical, and customer segment

Qualifications

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 2+ years of experience in a Business Development, Inside Sales, or outbound prospecting role (B2B or B2C)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build rapport quickly and handle objections effectively
  • Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce (preferred)
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts to support U.S. time zones
  • Experience in environmental services, industrial sectors, or related industries is a plus but not required
