Inside Software Sales Representative
The Building People, LLC, has a position open for a full-time Inside Software Sales Representative to focus on selling software products and consulting services to customers and prospects via phone, email, and online platforms, requiring strong communication, technical understanding, and sales skills to achieve sales targets. Works proactively, a self-starter, and collaborative in a teaming environment. Must have Integrated Work Management Software, and Asset Management software and consulting services industry solution knowledge and worked with Government clients. Will liaison between TBP sales team and across the Technology Solution teams. Will work with industry technology partners and consulting partners.
Key Responsibilities and Skills:
- Identifying potential customers and qualifying them based on their needs and suitability for the services and software solutions.
- Contacting leads via phone, email, or online platforms to introduce technical services or software solutions and understand their requirements.
- Create and deliver PowerPoint presentations for internal and external audiences supporting the capture of software sales and consulting services.
- Attend industry events, networking as needed by Sales
- Understanding customer needs and tailoring the software solutions to meet their specific requirements.
- Discussing pricing, terms, and conditions of the sale and assisting the finalizing deals.
- Providing support and follow-ups to maintain customer relationships and potentially upsell or cross-sell in the future.
- Maintaining accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales pipeline in Sales Force software. Manage sales activities and customer data.
- Keeping abreast of Facilities asset management industry trends and competitor activities.
Skills & Requirements:
- Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are crucial for engaging with customers and building rapport.
- Technical Skills: A good understanding of the software product and its technical capabilities is essential for answering customer questions and demonstrating the product effectively.
- Sales Skills: Proficiency in sales techniques, including lead generation, needs assessment, presentation, negotiation, and closing deals.
- Customer Service Skills: The ability to provide excellent customer service and build strong customer relationships.
- Time Management and Organization: Inside sales reps often work independently and need to manage their time effectively to meet sales goals.
- Research and Analytical Skills: The ability to research potential customers and understand their needs and market trends.
- Required Experience: At least 5-6 years of related experience.
- Required Education: Bachelor's degree.
