Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and commercially minded Director of Sales – Amazon. This highly visible and cross-functional role combines Sales Leadership and Strategic Planning, bringing together strategy, pricing, promotions, digital shelf optimization, and customer partnership leadership to accelerate profitable, sustainable growth at Amazon across our well-loved beverage brands.
What You'll Do for Us
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as one of the customer leads for Amazon.com accountable for top-line growth, joint business planning, and promotional execution.
- Build strong customer relationships and create mutual value for our merchants and bottler partners.
- Lead and co-author our multi-year joint business plans while owning the sell-in of key marketing pillar programs, innovation, assortment changes, and pricing strategy.
- Identify white space, competitive threats, and growth opportunities through category reviews and consistent sales performance monitoring.
- Manage customer P&L and trade spend to maximize ROI. Conduct deep financial and promotional analyses to inform customer investment strategy and identify optimization opportunities.
- Influence Bottling partners/other key stakeholders, as needed, to ensure alignment to customer growth plans and strategic initiatives.
- Lead negotiations pertaining to profitability, pricing and promotions.
- Accountable for Brand Registry across all our beverage portfolio.
Strategy Development:
- Lead the strategy development and execution for the Digital Shelf, Marketing & Promotional Calendar, Assortment Expansion and Innovation with the objective of delivering profitable growth while accelerating visibility, recruitment and conversion.
- Serve as project manager to launch all innovation and limited time offers – includes supply planning, catalog set-up, digital shelf merchandising, and extensive coordination at the bottlers.
- Build the Digital Shelf Playbook and serve as the project lead to mobilize the cross-functional team to deliver on the day-to-day executional priorities and updates.
- Collaborate with Marketing to secure best-in-class content. Continuously monitor digital shelf performance metrics, identify gaps and execute plan to address negative trends.
- Envision the Next Gen Digital Shelf given the acceleration of AI and Shopping Agents, and establish Strategic Partnership areas of focus with the customer.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with Brand Marketing, RGM, Finance, Customer Planning, Supply Chain, Category Leadership, Commercial, and Finance to align commercial strategies and execution plans.
- Influence product and packaging innovation, pricing corridors, and go-to-market strategies using channel and customer specific insights.
- Serve as the voice of the Amazon customer in cross-functional forums.
- Collaborate with the Global Digital Team on Quarterly Reporting for Executive Leadership as well as on the scaling of eCommerce Best Practices across global markets.
What You'll Need
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or related field; MBA preferred
- 10+ years of experience in CPG and Strategic Selling. Experience with Amazon is a plus.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities; expertise in financial modeling, price/promo optimization, and customer planning
- Proficient in Amazon systems including Vendor Central, and high digital acumen.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Identify white space, competitive threats, and growth opportunities through category reviews and analytics partnership.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence at all levels

Pay Range: United States of America: 141,000 USD - 165,200 USD
Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
Annual Incentive Reference Value Percentage: 30
Annual Incentive reference value is a market-based competitive value for your role. It falls in the middle of the range for your role, indicating performance at target.
