The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for the development and execution of sales strategies and plans for the Shamrock Foods portfolio. This includes development of new customers and management of existing customers. Essential duties include delivering significant volume growth and maintaining profitability, ensuring execution of annual sales plans, identifying and prioritizing key sales opportunities at key customer accounts, aligning with the strategic marketing plan, and meeting overall divisional goals. The role also involves developing, directing, and managing strategic selling plans for the Shamrock Foods brands, working with Branch Sales Manager to establish sales forecasts and manage to those objectives, maintaining regular contacts with key customers to improve Shamrock's relationship and ensure timely execution of programs, developing sales presentations in conjunction with Branch leadership, developing annual sales and expense budgets for the region and managing the approved budgets, providing periodic reporting and analysis as needed, developing annual trade plans for new and existing key accounts to drive objectives, providing leadership and management of all customer proposals for the assigned region, working with the Branch leaders on large volume buys/bookings, working with the Sales Support teams with large customer business reviews and penetration opportunities, working with the Branch Business Developers on their pipelines and identifying large COP opportunity customers, and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications include a HS diploma and/or GED required; an associate or bachelor's degree is a plus. Five plus years' experience in sales, foodservice experience is a plus, and two plus years' experience in a sales leadership role is a plus. A current driver license, strong financial acumen, demonstrated expertise in problem solving, comfort using technology, reading reports and analyzing customer data, demonstrated knowledgeable on current industry trends through the analysis and interpretation of general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and/or governmental regulations, excellent communication skills, expertise in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and flexibility to work the demands of the department which may be subject to evenings, weekends, and holidays are also required.
Salary is $120,000 to $140,000 depending on competency, experience, qualifications, and skills. Shamrock anticipates closing the application window for this job opportunity on or before December 31, 2025.
