Product Owner Role Overview

Primary Responsibilities:

• Writing user stories that are actionable and developable from a business perspective.
• Leading and providing backup support for multiple pods, ensuring continuous discovery and progress.
• Acting as a floater to assist with smaller initiatives when pod work is minimal.
• Covering for primary Product Owners when they are unavailable.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Experience Level: Not entry-level; requires significant experience in writing user stories.
• Industry Knowledge: Preferably from an enterprise business background, ideally within the cable industry or similar B2B environments.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with tools such as Jira is essential. Experience with Pega and Salesforce is a plus but not mandatory.
• Soft Skills: Highly organized, proactive, and able to take initiative without detailed instructions. Must be a self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to manage and resolve conflicts, particularly with strong-willed team members. Must remain calm under pressure and handle heated situations diplomatically.
• The role requires someone who can handle high-pressure situations and manage interactions with strong personalities.
• The candidate should be able to work independently and take ownership of their tasks without needing constant guidance.
