As Catering Sales Manager, you will drive growth, plan and execute high-profile events, and uphold our standard of excellence in hospitality. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage catering sales opportunities from initial inquiry through execution, ensuring seamless client experiences.
- Create customized proposals, contracts, and banquet event orders in collaboration with culinary and operations teams.
- Partner with the Executive Chef and General Manager on menu design, costing, and event planning to ensure profitability and creativity.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while identifying new business opportunities across corporate, social, and community events.
- Prepare and monitor departmental budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to achieve revenue goals.
- Manage event logistics including labor planning, setup, service flow, and post-event wrap-up.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards, including HACCP guidelines.
- Represent Wolfgang Puck Catering at networking events, tastings, and industry functions to enhance visibility and drive business growth.
- Support and train hourly and management-level associates, reinforcing excellence in service standards and brand presentation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales goals in catering or event management.
- Minimum of 2 years in the hospitality industry, including at least 1 year in catering sales.
- Strong knowledge of food trends, fine dining service, and event presentation.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build rapport and maintain client loyalty.
- Skilled in developing menu proposals and coordinating with culinary teams.
- Financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with CRM systems preferred.
- Adaptable, organized, and calm under pressure with excellent attention to detail.
