As a key driver in our overall organic growth, retention is a top priority of our organization. We are seeking an experienced sales and/or retention specialist to lead Compass Group's account retention efforts through strategic engagement with clients, operators and field support.
Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, the Regional Sales Director - Retention will be responsible for retention and rebid efforts in our Corporate Services division with a primary focus on delivering winning proposals and solutions. This position is remote location with an expectation of up to 50% travel to meet clients and retain business.

Work with existing clients and operators to objectively assess current operations and identify areas of opportunity leading to successful retention of our most critical contracts.
Identify necessary support resources to bring new and ongoing innovation to our current clients
Lead the rebid strategy sessions to include cross-functional teams to develop solutions that resonate with our existing clients and are seen as value add
Work closely with our creative team and resources to develop custom sales proposals and meet RFP requirements
Communicate effectively across the organization both horizontally and vertically
Execution of the Compass Sales Process
Minimum of three years' experience in new business development, retention or high level account management role; previous experience within a similar type industry preferred.
A track record of consistently exceeding sales quotas and targets over time
Experience developing winning sales proposals and responding to complex RFP's
Strong computer skills and ability to work with CRM database management system
Ability to represent the organization at a variety of industry and non-industry events.
Excellent communication skills
Ability to multi-task and establish priorities; strong time management skills
High energy, positive attitude and excellent communication/presentation skills
Ability to travel extensively throughout assigned territory and occasionally outside of territory
Team player who wants to be part of and contribute to the success of a top-caliber sales organization
