The primary objective of this leadership position is to guide a team of specialized sellers for Contact Center Intelligence and Contact Center as a Service product set to grow new revenue. The desired result is acquiring monthly recurring revenue at or above assigned growth and incremental revenue targets. Key functions are establishing working relationships with clients, region's direct and channel sales account teams, internal and external ecosystem partners prospecting, qualifying, and closing customers for Lumen.

The main responsibilities include:

  • Leading a team of specialized sellers for CCI, SaaS, and CaaS products to achieve revenue targets.
  • Building and managing strategic partner relationships with clients in North America.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships from operational to 'C' level for sales in the Enterprise commercial space.
  • Meeting or exceeding management objectives, billed revenue, and sales quotas.
  • Driving new revenue streams with clients and partners.
  • Providing superior technology and solution knowledge.
  • Maintaining accurate strategic region and territory plans.
  • Managing sales funnel and monitoring sales activity against quotas.
  • Executing a formalized relationship mapping strategy.
  • Conducting business development activities in assigned regions.
  • Developing and executing partner business plans.
  • Coordinating business reviews to ensure successful joint execution.
  • Collaborating with internal organizations to develop solutions and achieve objectives.
  • Using a consultative sales approach to understand customer needs and deliver managed services solutions.
  • Developing executive relationships with senior leadership.
  • Overseeing strategies to increase customer loyalty and reduce churn.
  • Ensuring smooth customer transitions to new products or services.
  • What we look for in a candidate:

    • 12 years of technology sales experience in CCI and CaaS product sets.
    • Consistently meets or exceeds sales targets.
    • Success in consultative leadership and training selling techniques.
    • Proven record in managing strategic partnerships and delivering revenue goals.
    • Evidence of producing measurable results through direct clients and partners.
    • Success in developing high-level client relationships.
    • Experience in multi-product solutions with ecosystem partners.
    • Completion of consultative or solutions selling training.
    • Business network with major clients and vendor providers in North America.
    • Ownership of the sales cycle from lead generation to closure.
    • Self-generation of campaigns and leads.
    • Driving new revenue through customer acquisition.

    Preferred qualifications:

    • 12 years of technology sales experience and 7 years in a technology management role.
    • Industry knowledge of trends, emerging technologies, and competitors.
    • Experience selling to large enterprise businesses.
    • One or more technical sales certifications (AWS, Cisco, Zoom, Microsoft, etc.)

    Compensation:

    This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors. Location based pay range $148,838 - $198,450 in these states: AL AR AZ FL GA IA ID IN KS KY LA ME MO MS MT ND NE NM OH OK PA SC SD TN UT VT WI WV WY $156,282 - $208,373 in these states: CO HI MI MN NC NH NV OR RI $163,727 - $218,295 in these states: AK CA CT DC DE IL MA MD NJ NY TX VA WA.
