Regional Sales Manager - Advanced Wound Care

We're looking for a Regional Sales Manager to lead our Advanced Wound Care (AWC) business in Northern Italy. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving regional sales performance, building strategic customer relationships, and leading a high-performing sales team to exceed targets.

Your Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with business goals.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Territory Managers.
• Monitor performance using CRM tools and drive continuous improvement.
• Manage regional budgets and optimize resource allocation.
• Support hospital tender processes and public procurement activities.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, opinion leaders, and technical experts.
• Promote a culture of accountability, excellence, and innovation.

What We're Looking For:

• Proven sales leadership experience in the medical device or healthcare industry.
• Strong knowledge of the Advanced Wound Care market (preferred).
• Experience with hospital tenders and public procurement.
• Excellent coaching, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to translate insights into strategy.
• Passion for digital tools and CRM systems.
• Native Italian and proficient in English.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the region.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Business, or related field.
• Experience in commercial roles within pharma or medical devices, with at least 3 years of experience managing a team.
• Understanding of Sales Training, Tender Management, Marketing, and Market Access.
• Skills in change management, particularly valuable in contexts of digital transformation and commercial reorganization.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to influence and lead across diverse teams.
• Demonstrated commitment to Convatec's values and behaviors.

Working Conditions:

Location: Field-based in Northern Italy (Milano or Turin preferred) Travel: Up to 75% across Piemonte, Val d'Aosta, Liguria, Lombardia, Sardegna and Toscana Language Requirements: Native Italian, Fluent English
