Required Qualifications:

  • Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree is required.
  • MBA or M.Eng. is a plus
  • Experience 3 years
  • English - Business fluency

General Knowledge:

  • Deep understanding of Residential and Commercial Air Conditioning Business, Commercial Refrigeration, equipment, components, and electronics.
  • Able to comfortably and easily use conventional computer equipment and software, including word processing & spreadsheet.
  • Deep knowledge of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Market and Buying Practices; experience working in or selling into OEMs.
  • Intermediate to advanced HVAC, refrigeration, and system protectors experience
  • Able to discuss with customers on all aspects of Air Conditioning and Commercial Refrigeration.
  • Willingness to travel – Customers in different cities: Mexico.

Responsibilities:

  • Build a sales relationship with HVAC&R OEMs customers. Actively and proactively listen, probe, identify technical and sales concerns, and deliver solutions.
  • Fully understand the customer's business and "speak their language".
  • Develop and implement strategies for OEMs for sales growth and penetration increase.
  • Develop new business opportunities to increase sales into the market.
  • Forecasting and delivering against substantial revenue targets and achieve the assigned sales target
  • Identify the market requirements and specifics, develop and execute the strategies and tactics for growth of orders and profitability.
  • Lead the development, reviewing process and communicate the consistent business development plan for designated area of responsibility to Copeland organization.
  • Actively visit existing customers and seek new opportunities to promote products, services and solutions of Copeland Portfolio.
  • Actively support all people management related tasks.
  • Maintain and regularly update business expectations thru Salesforce tool.
  • Participate in customer development activities as trade shows, fairs, conferences aiming to promote the sale of products, solutions and services of designated portfolio.
  • Improve customer satisfaction by understanding, communicating and executing solutions to their needs.
  • Cooperate closely with operations, engineering services, project execution and service teams to ensure the appropriate delivery of commitments to customer and maximize the customer's overall satisfaction.
  • Practice and promote the Copeland culture in all aspects of the role and lead by example.
  • Ensure that all transactions are properly screened and recorded in accordance with the company's Trade Compliance procedures and to escalate any concerns or questions to the local Gatekeeper.
  • Retention and winning new customers with sales growth and profitability.
  • Improve Accuracy and Quality Information for Sales Forecast.
  • Request support and communicate effectively with other business units globally.
  • Work in conjunction with the Technical and Sales Team on seeking out, targeting, and initiating contacts with prospective customers.
  • The candidate will be responsible for external customers in Mx. This includes sales and technical support, assisting OEMs while developing and sustaining long-term customer relationships and sales partnerships to ensure entire customer satisfaction.
