Job Description

Position Overview:

The Sales Enablement Representative plays a strategic and cross-functional role in driving sales effectiveness and alignment across multiple Business Units and brands within the Shelter Division. This position is responsible for designing, executing, and optimizing enablement programs that enhance seller readiness, elevate customer engagement, and accelerate revenue growth.

Acting as a bridge between Sales, Marketing, Commercial Operations, Product, and other functional teams, this role ensures that the sales organization is equipped with the right tools, content, and training to deliver consistent value to customers. The Sales Enablement Specialist drives continuous improvement across Shelter's enablement ecosystem by operationalizing strategic initiatives informed by data and cross-functional feedback.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and continuously improve a comprehensive onboarding and ongoing learning framework for sales team members across Shelter's multiple Business Units and brands, ensuring consistency in foundational knowledge while allowing for Business Unit and/or brand-specific differentiation.
  • Create and manage a variety of sales enablement content and materials that align to the diverse needs of Shelter's sales organization and go-to-market strategies. This includes but is not limited to internal playbooks and training, as well as templates, presentations, flyers, and other customer-facing resources.
  • Collaborate with Sales Manager, Product/Content Marketing, Business Development, Commercial Operations, and other cross-functional teams to gather insights and ensure alignment on content and training initiatives.
  • Work to ensure that sales enablement efforts are aligned with current positioning, messaging, and market conditions.
  • Create structured feedback loops with sales teams to inform ongoing improvements.
  • Serve as a catalyst for strategic initiatives that advance enablement maturity, improve the seller and customer journey, and deliver tangible business impact.
  • Manage and curate the sales content & training within the Sales Enablement platform, ensuring accessibility, relevancy, and alignment to role-specific sales motions and customer interactions.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of training programs through various formats, including virtual, in-person, and self-paced learning options. Tailor materials to support different sales roles and stages of the sales journey.
  • Assist in the development and management of sales certification programs to ensure sales reps meet required competencies and continually improve their skills.
  • Utilize data and analytics tools to assess the effectiveness of sales enablement programs and content. Make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement and identify gaps.

Qualifications

Qualifications / Additional Information:

  • Bachelor's degree (advanced degree in communications or similar preferred).
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales enablement, content development, or training program management. Previous sales experience is a plus.
  • Work-related travel as required; ability to travel up to 30%.
  • Strong project/program management skills with experience in managing complex, cross-functional programs and initiatives.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting with numerous projects, deadlines, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with sales leadership, marketing, and other stakeholders to develop impactful sales enablement solutions.
  • Proficient in using learning management systems, sales enablement platforms (Highspot preferred), and content management systems.
  • Excellent communication & organizational skills with the ability to create engaging, concise, and actionable content for all levels of the sales organization.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in using data to evaluate program effectiveness and inform decision-making
