The Impact of a Manager of Sales Compensation, EMEA/APAC at Coupa:
Coupa Software is looking for a Manager of Sales Compensation to join our commissions team. The Manager of Sales Compensation will play a vital role in leading the end-to-end global sales commissions plan for the EMEA/APAC regions, including generating individual compensation plans, creating calculation inputs, and performing monthly calculations for commissions payout. This role will partner closely with Coupa's Finance, Sales, and Operations teams and have a direct impact on scaling processes and becoming a thought leader in incentive compensation across EMEA/APAC.
What You'll Do:
- Lead and administer monthly sales commission calculations for the EMEA/APAC regions, which includes creating system uploads, reconciling data, and reporting on results.
- Identify and implement process improvements to scale and optimize commissions, partnering with other teams to drive these projects to completion.
- Support the sales compensation design and strategy for EMEA/APAC by providing insightful analytics and knowledge of market trends.
- Provide excellent support to the sales organization by resolving commission inquiries and acting as a trusted advisor on compensation structure.
- Oversee the management of compensation plans using Xactly Incent and assist with quarterly and annual audit processes for EMEA/APAC sales.
What You Will Bring to Coupa:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Xactly Incent (or similar software) to compile, analyze, and present complex data sets.
- Demonstrated ownership, attention to detail, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with sales compensation design, quota setting, and reporting, with a focus on the EMEA/APAC markets.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of integrity, excellent organizational skills, and a proven ability to work cross-functionally with global stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
- 4+ years experience in sales commissions or adjacent functions, with experience in EMEA/APAC regions.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM systems.
- Familiarity with SOX Compliance and key controls.
- Fluency in a second language relevant to the EMEA/APAC regions (e.g., German, French, Spanish, Japanese, Mandarin).
