✨ About The Role
- The Regional Account Manager will be responsible for maximizing sales and profitability of the Specialty Films and Coatings & Adhesives Medical business in the Middle East.
- This role involves implementing short- and long-term sales strategies based on the principals' targets and coordinating sales deals within defined expectations.
- The candidate will generate insights about customer demand, competitive situations, and market conditions to enhance Covestro's position as a key supplier.
- Responsibilities include introducing medical products and applications to potential customers and partners, as well as identifying new business opportunities along the value chain.
- The role requires monitoring local regulations and laws that may influence the business and providing relevant information to the principal.
âš¡ Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of business experience in sales and/or technical development roles, particularly in the thermoplastics and/or medical industry.
- A strong background in the polymer/plastic films industry is preferred, showcasing a track record of sales growth.
- The candidate should possess strong communication skills and the ability to negotiate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
- A high level of interpersonal skills is essential, along with the ability to work with diverse cultures and a willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
- Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in Arabic is considered an advantage.
