Description
Essential Job Functions:
- Collects competitive intelligence, analyzes information or market trends and conditions and gauges anticipated demand.
- Review analysis of activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine progress toward stated business development goals and objectives.
- Develops target list and initiates contact with potential clients through prospecting, via phone calls, social media, cold calling and promotional flier distribution.
- Confirms appointments to introduce the company and our services to potential clients and build and maintain ongoing relationships.
- Work with the customer to understand and identify their strategic vision, objectives and needs while aligning our products and services.
- Supports existing customers, acting as intermediary for communication between client and their operations teams and CWW network, available for escalation where required.
- Increases business with established and new customers over time. Achieves KPI's as agreed upon.
- Keep abreast of emerging technology changes and innovations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
- Position may require extended periods of sitting, computer use, standing and walking.
- Some light lifting may be required in some instances.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail and prioritization required.
- Excellent sales experience.
- Strong client facing skills and effective selling to an executive owner and/or decision maker with a consultative approach.

Education & Direct Work Experience:
- Grade 12/Matric Certificate is required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- 3 - 5 or more years of logistics sales related experience required.
Certifications & Licenses:
- Professional certification may be required in some areas.
