The Penguin Random House Publishing Services team is seeking a sales assistant to provide administrative support to the Client Sales group and our client publishers. The sales assistant will work primarily with Penguin Random House sales reps and channel liaisons, publishing operations, and digital customer operations teams to respond to client publisher questions and concerns. The Client Sales team is responsible for supporting our client publishers in the sales and distribution of their books. We partner with publishers such as Disney, Rizzoli, Highlights, DC Comics, Zando, America's Test Kitchen, and other independent publishers. The team provides guidance, solutions, and gathers information and resources as needed to help our client publishers bring their books to market starting at their launch and continuing through their release into the marketplace. The ideal candidate has an adaptable communication and follow-up style and is able to follow processes and work self-sufficiently. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented person who loves to streamline and improve processes, enjoys creative problem-solving, and has a desire and willingness to seek increased responsibility and grow within a busy department. The salary for this position is $51,000. All positions are currently eligible for annual profit award or bonus, subject to Company results.
