Ecommerce Sales Operations Manager - LATAM
Support Mercado Libre and authorized marketplace resellers by managing merchandising categories and retailer inventory levels to ensure timely fulfillment and meet sales objectives. Maximize profitability by achieving inventory turn goals and manage the exit of discontinued products. Successfully manage orders and the flow of goods in alignment with customer-specific requirements, including routing guides. Provide reporting on inventory issues and develop detailed resolutions. Collaborate effectively with Sales and Operations teams to drive performance and resolve problems efficiently. Responsible for managing eCommerce operations and sales support across key Latin American markets, including Argentina, Chile, Peru, Colombia, and Ecuador.
Major Activities
- Communicate with the Sales, Merchandising, and Operations teams to ensure the accurate and timely ordering and transfer of goods to retail partner stores, distribution centers, and eCommerce channels (.com).
- Partner with the Order Management and EDI teams to ensure purchase orders are processed accurately and on time.
- Analysis: Collaborate with the Sales team to support promotional activities, and provide sales and inventory analyses to manage discontinued products, minimize markdowns, and maintain service level goals.
- Cross-Functional Communication: Partner with demand planners, wholesale management, sales, merchandising, operations, and product teams to address inventory-related issues and provide actionable solutions.
- Order Management: Work closely with the Cricut order processing team to ensure customer purchase orders are executed according to supply chain requirements. Manage and minimize customer chargebacks related to supply chain issues.
- Inventory Management: Collaborate with the Sales Director, Sales Support, and Inventory Management teams to review and analyze inventory levels of planogram (POG) merchandise.
- Buying Team Integration: Actively engage with all buying team members to foster a positive, proactive, and collaborative working environment.
- Manage disputes and chargebacks on Amazon Vendor Central in partnership with Cricut Finance.
Merchandising
- Works closely with sales, sales support and inventory management teams to ensure inventory levels both support financial objectives and meet in stock goals.
- Maintain proper set up and continued SKU maintenance / review of Item and vendor parameters in the Automatic Replenishment system.
- Ensure timely and accurate orders and transfers for POG merchandise categories to both stores and DC's.
- Develop and implement necessary unique replenishment tactics on trend or highly seasonal categories / items.
- Support efforts to revive or exit troubled or down trending categories
Analysis
- Partner with Demand Planners, Sales, and planning teams to review inventory for upcoming sets as well as exiting product and new product.
- Monitor and evaluate weekly sales in and sales out trends
- Create/Manage sell-through forecasts by product line for Quarter +2 for Amazon 1p and authorized 3p marketplace sellers.
- Provide data to planning team to monitor future inventory receipts vs. financial plan.
- Review data with sales/channel teams on key items to ensure support of sales during peak season and promo opportunities.
Documentation
- Maintain appropriate documentation of changes made to replenishment parameters to allow thorough review of impact and success of those changes.
- Provide weekly update on status of key inventory issues.
- Provide updates on key inventory metrics vs. goals.
Communication
- Build and maintain a positive working relationship with sales and ops and all cross functional teams.
- Proactively communicate any SBA inventory issues with Sales/Sales Support to allow for best resolution.
- Communicate with retail partners on any issues impacting support of POG product for features or promotions.
- Manage vendor performance through appropriate communication involving sales / merchant teams and all inventory managers as necessary.
Systems Usage
- Demonstrate a working knowledge in Mercado Libre FULFILLMENT, EXCEL.
Performance Measures
- Support the Sales Goals / Budget
- Support gross margin / contribution margin objectives
- Reduce overstock and increase inventory productivity
- Ensure inventory levels are in support of achieving financial objectives

Applicable Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Minimum level of formal education: BS in Business, Finance, Retail or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Area of study: Business preferred
- Special certification or technical skills: High grade in MS Excel/Access abilities
- Minimum years experience required: 1 – 2 years of replenishment
- Type of experience the job requires: Replenishment experience required
- Bilingual in English and Spanish/Portuguese, with strong communication skills in both languages
