Manage sales activities and events in accordance with the hotel's annual sales and marketing plan, and provide comprehensive support to achieve budget and sales strategies for conference and event services.
As this is a domestic market business, proficiency in Japanese is required.
* Support operations in the general banquet department (including internal and group events).
* Monitor competitor activities and provide marketing information.
* Sell to new, existing, and prospective clients based on sales strategy targets, and propose and negotiate optimal rates for the business.
* Manage existing clients through account-based management.
* Conduct regular sales activities and market development.
* Conduct market research and analysis.
* Develop and maintain contact with business generators, meeting and convention planners, visitor and convention bureaus, travel agencies, tour operators, airlines, corporate accounts, government agencies, and other producers related to the hotel business.
• Strong communication skills with customers, colleagues, and agents
• Ability to solve and analyze problems, maintain motivation, and contribute effectively within a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• At least 2 years of work experience in the hotel or hospitality industry
• Sales experience is a plus
• Proficiency in Japanese communication, reading, and writing
