As a Solutions Sales Specialist – Spatial Biology, you will play a key role in driving commercial success by presenting and positioning comprehensive spatial biology workflow solutions—including reagents and imaging technologies—to customers across your territory. You will collaborate closely with Account Managers and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, engage prospects, and deliver tailored solutions that meet scientific and operational needs.

This position reports to the Director of Market Development and is part of the North America Life Science Research commercial team working remotely to cover the Western region.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Effectively manage your sales territory by identifying opportunities, prospecting new accounts, and negotiating deals to maximize growth in the spatial biology market (academic, biotech, pharma).
  • Drive sales growth by promoting end-to-end spatial biology workflows. Present full solution offerings through product demonstrations and technical consultations to highlight differentiated value.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align on territory strategy and customer engagement plans.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets, contributing to forecasting accuracy and funnel management to support overall business success.
  • Apply value selling techniques to uncover customer needs and deliver tailored solutions, providing expert technical and commercial support throughout the decision-making and purchasing process.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in life sciences: A background in biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, or a related field is essential to understand spatial biology workflows and engage credibly with scientific customers.
  • Demonstrated success in a technical sales role, ideally involving reagents, imaging systems, or workflow solutions.
  • Strong understanding of spatial biology and imaging workflows: Familiarity with multiplexed imaging, tissue analysis, or related technologies is critical to effectively position integrated solutions and support customer conversations.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills: Ability to work cross-functionally with the commercial team and marketing to drive aligned customer engagement and territory strategy.
  • Results-driven mindset with strong organizational skills: Capable of managing a dynamic pipeline, forecasting accurately, and meeting or exceeding sales targets while maintaining a customer-first approach.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role

  • Ability to travel overnight up to 50%, within territory and to support tradeshows as needed
  • Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Experience selling into translational research, oncology, or immunology markets
  • Hands-on experience with spatial biology or multiplexed imaging platforms

The salary range for this role is $95,000 - $120,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
