The EMEA Upstream & Fluid Management Sales Specialist - Switzerland is responsible for growth and expansion of direct sales and profit margins within assigned accounts and/or territory/region on products or service. Establishes professional relationships with key personnel in customer accounts. Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and margin dollars.

This position reports to the EMEA Upstream & Fluid Management Leader Central Europe and is part of the Upstream & Fluid Management Modaliy located in Switzerland and will be fully remote.

What you will do:

  • Primarily focus on Upstream Hardware, Mixers, Totes and Single Use Consumables opportunities within the region and support all these products that are sold both by providing the Account Manager in sales process with product expertise as well as independently identifying opportunities
  • Provide high level technical expertise during pre-sales discussions, instrument demonstrations, customer training, post-sales support, seminars, tenders/quotes and promotional events
  • Lead technical and process related discussions with customer Subject Matter Experts and give applicative support including trouble shooting and answer customer queries of sophisticated technical and applicative nature
  • Develop sales opportunities to create a sales funnel to meet business targets. Manage leads and prospects using customer relationship management software
  • Build a strong internal network to drive maximum synergy and customer satisfaction across the business. Work effectively with internal functions, including the account management team, other sales specialist, service engineering, product management, marketing, finance, legal, scientific support, service sales and customer service

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or a related field
  • Several years of commercial experience in biotechnology industry
  • Customer-first mindset and a passion for solving process and creating value
  • Proven ability to drive cross-selling, value positioning, lead generation, effective funnel management using Sales Force and scouting market for new opportunities
  • Fluent in English with strong communication and presentation skills

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • Ability to travel – up to 50 % travel, overnight, within territory or international
  • Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Fluent in French
