Senior Director, Enterprise Sales

Join Dataminr as our Senior Director, Enterprise Sales for our thriving Central Region! You'll lead a team of talented Account Executives selling Cybersecurity & Corporate Security to Enterprise clients. We need you to drive them to exceed revenue targets while furthering their professional development. You'll report to our SVP, Americas Enterprise Sales and thrive on being hands-on with prospective customers and partners. Join us and spearhead the sale of our cutting-edge cybersecurity and corporate security products to top-tier enterprises.

Working at Dataminr you'll have the opportunity to tackle the most exciting trends in AI on a daily basis to power a revolutionary product that uncovers critical events around the world as they unfold.

The opportunity

  • Partner with our SVP, Enterprise Sales to develop a plan of action to win new logos and exceed the team's assigned quota (new business, net-new logos)
  • Manage, motivate, and grow a team of Account Executives
  • Hold the sales team accountable for achieving their quota and activity expectations, utilizing strategic coaching to address performance issues as needed
  • Establish and lead a team culture that promotes engagement, performance, teamwork, accountability, and success
  • Establish territory-specific plans of action through one-on-one sessions with sellers (e.g. who to target, weekly call activity, required sales behavior, etc.)
  • Work collaboratively with other sales and functional leaders to ensure that all accounts are sold and serviced in an effective and efficient manner, and in compliance with our clients' expectations

What you bring

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 10+ years of proven enterprise Cybersecurity sales experience, preferably in fast-paced, technology-driven environments
  • 5+ years of sales leadership experience with demonstrated quota achievement and territory growth
  • Experience of key customers and partners in the Central Region
  • Extensive experience of coaching and mentoring new business sellers to exceed revenue targets and developing their careers
  • Strong solution selling skills with the ability to demonstrate strong product knowledge
  • Self-motivation and an ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

The annual on-target earnings (OTE) for this position are $305,600 - $450,000, which consists of the annual base salary and annual commission target for the role. You will also be eligible to receive Company equity. Actual OTE will be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, applicant skills, and prior relevant experience.
