Dell's North American Retail Sales Team is looking for a seasoned Channel Account Executive. This role will carry a quota focused on generating growth each quarter through Dell lines of products. The Channel Account Executive will build and implement a sales strategy to achieve these growth and profitability goals. You will work with the customer buying team, Dell Retail account teams, and internal sales support teams to drive all lines of business, removing barriers, architecting solutions, and closing the sale. Takes a lead role on the sale to ensure that the Dell solutions are comprehensive, achieve customer goals, and provide an outstanding customer experience.

What you'll achieve As a Channel Sales Account Executive, you will work with channel partners to identify and qualify mutually rewarding sales activities, strategies, distributors and business opportunities, all in the service of optimizing sales execution so that service level agreements are met. You will:

• Work with channel partners to identify and qualify mutually rewarding sales activities, strategies and business opportunities
• Manage the channel partner relationship, engagement and achievement of joint objectives through the partner planning process
• Identify cost-effective and practical alternatives for the channel by bundling products/service "solutions" to maximize our opportunity while meeting customer's needs
• Work with inside sales teams and partner outside field sales teams to drive all lines of business, removing technical barriers, architecting business solutions and bringing forward new business
• Develop and implement strategies and sales campaigns for targeted accounts

• 8 to 12 years of related field sales experience
• Aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions solve business problems
• Strong communication, collaboration, negotiation and executive presentation skills and the ability to provide insight and thought leadership to senior level leadership and executives

Desirable Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Retail field sales experience

Compensation Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The targeted compensation range for this position is $196,000 - $253,000, with a 70/30 (base to variable) split.
